ADM Supporting Marine Reunion
PLYMOUTH – The A.D. Makepeace Company is pleased to support a special reunion of members of Helicopter Marine Light, HML-771 this fall.
The unit, formerly based at South Weymouth Naval Air Station, was comprised of Vietnam, Desert Storm and Afghanistan Veterans.
The event will be held October 17, 2026 at the Marriott Boston Quincy. Nearly 200 veterans and guests are already expected to attend, coming from as far as Hawaii, Washington, California, and Texas.
ADM/Redbrook contributed $1,000 to help the organization book the function facility, and has encouraged other local businesses to support the effort as well.
“This is one small way we can thank these veterans and their families for their service,” said Dan Gorczyca, a lifelong Plymouth resident who serves as vice president of the A.D. Makepeace Company and project executive for Redbrook, the new mixed-use village under construction in South Plymouth.
Donations will offset some of the cost for the reunion, and provide financial support for family members within the Helicopter Community.
“Some of them don’t have the finances that some of us do,” said organizer Paul Jennings of Plymouth, who retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1994, after service as a combat veteran of Vietnam and a veteran of Desert Storm. He went on to become a detective with the Plymouth Police Department, retiring in 2017.
The organization will also make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Program and Tunnel to Towers (T2T) Program on behalf of all those who have supported reuniting these veterans.
Military Helicopter Air Crew Veterans Org. is a non-profit corporation, registered with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, AGO Charity #083026. Email MSgt Jennings for information about donating to the reunion.
