The annual Wankinquoah Tihonet Fishing Derby 2026 returns to Tihonet Pond in Wareham, MA on May 31.
This community event allows anglers of all ages to enjoy a fun day outdoors, bringing together fishing enthusiasts for friendly competition in a scenic setting.
Sponsored by A.D. Makepeace Company and hosted by the Wankinquoah Rod and Gun Club, the event features fishing, raffles, prizes, breakfast, and activities for all ages.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Wankinquoah Rod & Gun Club Junior Associate program. The derby offers a great opportunity to spend time on the water, connect with the community, and take part in a meaningful tradition.
