More Awards for Redbrook

Boston, MA — October 25, 2017 — Plymouth’s Redbrook team was a big winner once again at the annual real estate industry awards for excellence in building and design, netting one gold awards and three silvers.

The awards, presented by the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, recognize “the finest projects and outstanding achievements” of builders, developers, project owners, architects, and other professionals in the home building industry.

Awards to the A.D. Makepeace Company, Redbrook’s developer, sales firm The Collaborative Companies, and builders The Valle Group of East Falmouth and The Stabile Companies of Nashua, NH included Gold for Best Direct Mail, and Silver awards for Best Website, Community Spirit, and Landscaping.

“We are pleased to be recognized for our work in creating a community at Redbrook,” said Michael P. Hogan, president and CEO of the A.D. Makepeace Company. “Redbrook is very different from other planned communities because it fosters a genuine connection among neighbors, through the natural beauty of its setting and the partners that help make Redbrook a true New England village.”

The Community Spirit nomination narrative credits the Old Colony YMCA, whose full-service fitness and child care facility at Redbrook has exceeded all membership expectations.

“The YMCA is universally known as an inclusive organization whose number one goal is to promote health, however you define that word,” said Mr. Hogan.  “I could think of no better partner to become the heart and soul of Redbrook.”

The Redbrook team has sold out two neighborhoods and completed major infrastructure work.  Four new neighborhoods are under construction, with homes available for sale there. The first neighborhood of spectacular water-view homes is available now, and the Townhomes on the Green, introduced by Whitman Homes of Canton, MA, recently broke ground.

Redbrook has garnered 14 Prism awards to date. Information is available at the two-time award-winning website, redbrookplymouth.com.

The A.D. Makepeace Company, with properties in southeastern Massachusetts, is a recognized leader in environmentally responsible land development and stewardship.  The 163-year-old company is the world’s largest cranberry grower, a founding member of the Ocean Spray co-op, and one of the largest private property owners in Massachusetts.

Acclaimed Builder Joins Redbrook Team

Plymouth, MA — September 6, 2017 — An acclaimed regional homebuilder has joined the Redbrook team to offer a new type of home option – attached townhomes at a highly competitive price point – at the Village being developed by the A.D. Makepeace Company.

Makepeace President and CEO Michael P. Hogan announced Monday that Whitman Homes of Canton, MA will join Falmouth’s The Valle Group and The Stabile Companies of Nashua, NH as a builder at Redbrook.

“We partnered with the Whitman Homes team a decade ago to develop a beautiful neighborhood in nearby Carver, so we know first-hand that their company shares our approach and standards,” Mr. Hogan said.  “Whitman Homes plans a unique product that will be appealing to first-time buyers, young families, and empty nesters alike.”

The new neighborhood, dubbed Townhomes on the Green, will feature 32 townhouse-style homes located just north of Redbrook’s Meeting House in its first phase.  Prices for two-bedroom homes are in the $300,000s, a rarity for new construction in eastern Massachusetts.

Since it was established in 1993, Whitman Homes has earned praise from both its home buyers and the homebuilding industry. BUILDER Magazine cited Whitman Homes as one of the “Top 10 local Leaders in New England” and the Builders Association of Greater Boston honored Whitman Homes as the “Builder of the Year.” From national award-winning home design awards to individual professional service awards for their sales and project management excellence, Whitman Homes’ commitment to their buyers is one reason why Guild Quality has awarded Whitman Homes six times with their prestigious “Guild Master Award with Highest Distinction.”

“We are honored to be selected to join the award-winning team of builders already at Redbrook,” said Tim Porter, vice president and principal of Whitman Homes.  “We look forward to adding our unique Townhomes on the Green.”

The Valle Group has completed two neighborhoods and has a third under construction. Stabile’s Winterberry neighborhood is well under way.

Redbrook also currently features a full-service YMCA, and The Meeting House, containing the Redbrook sales and management offices as well as The Farmers Table, a small café-style restaurant with a menu designed around their farm-to-table culinary philosophy.  At buildout, which will occur over a decade, Redbrook will include more than 1,200 homes, all within easy walking distance of the village center with some 60,000 square feet of commercial space. The village features more than 1,400 acres of preserved forest, with walking trails, kayak launches, ponds for fishing, swimming, and more.
